چکیده
We study direct and indirect magnetoexcitons in Rydberg states monolayers heterostructures of transition metal dichalcogenices (TMDCs) an external magnetic field, applied perpendicular to the monolayer or framework a Mott-Wannier model excitons. calculate binding energies for $1s, 2s, 3s$, $4s$ by numerical integration Schr\"odinger equation using Rytova-Keldysh potential both Coulomb potentials magnetoexcitons. The latter allows understanding role screening TMDCs heterostructures. report field energy contribution diamagnetic coefficients (DMCs) tunability is demonstrated. It shown that DMCs can be manipulated number hBN layers. Therefore, our raises possibility controlling TMDC monolayers, bilayers, van der Waals opens additional degree freedom tailor varying sheets between calculations compared with experimental results when they are available.

Electronic structures and enhanced optical properties of blue phosphorene/transition metal dichalcogenides van der Waals heterostructures
As a fast emerging topic, van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures have been proposed to modify two-dimensional layered materials with desired properties, thus greatly extending the applications of these materials. In this work, the stacking characteristics, electronic structures, band edge alignments, charge density distributions and optical properties of blue phosphorene/transition metal dichalco...
متن کاملProduction Methods of Van der Waals Heterostructures Based on Transition Metal Dichalcogenides
Two dimensional (2D) materials have gained significant attention since the discovery of graphene in 2004. Layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have become the focus of 2D materials in recent years due to their wide range of chemical compositions and a variety of properties. These TMDs layers can be artificially integrated with other layered materials into a monolayer (lateral) or a m...
متن کاملQuantifying van der Waals Interactions in Layered Transition Metal Dichalcogenides from Pressure-Enhanced Valence Band Splitting.
van der Waals (vdW) forces, despite being relatively weak, hold the layers together in transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) and play a key role in their band structure evolution, hence profoundly affecting their physical properties. In this work, we experimentally probe the vdW interactions in MoS2 and other TMDs by measuring the valence band maximum (VBM) splitting (Δ) at K point as a funct...
متن کاملDefect passivation of transition metal dichalcogenides via a charge transfer van der Waals interface
Integration of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) into next-generation semiconductor platforms has been limited due to a lack of effective passivation techniques for defects in TMDs. The formation of an organic-inorganic van der Waals interface between a monolayer (ML) of titanyl phthalocyanine (TiOPc) and a ML of MoS2 is investigated as a defect passivation method. A strong negative charg...
